Mt 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Christian researcher George Barna says that nearly half (43%) of all Americans who accept Jesus Christ as their savior do so before reaching the age of 13. He also points out that two out of three born again Christians (64%) accept Jesus Christ as their savior before their 18th birthday. Because reaching children with the gospel is so important, Cowboy Church offers a number of age appropriate ministries to help your child learn about God, Jesus Christ, and the Bible.

Children's Church

Children's Church exists to offer children an opportunity to learn about God on their level while their parents attend worship services. While in Children's Church, your child will receive an age appropriate Bible lesson, a Children's sermon brought by a lively and engaging speaker, and the opportunity to worship God using songs and music tailored to be fun and enjoyable for kids. Many parents report that children who have been bored with or resistant to traditional Sunday School end up having a very positive experience in Children's Church.

Time and Place

Children's Church meets every Sunday from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. or from 10:30 to 12:00 noon in the Cowboy Church Youth Center.

What to Expect

Upon arrival at the youth Center, you will be met by Cowboy Church staff who will take down your child's name and escort them to the appropriate class. They will also assign you a security number which will be used to contact you should your child become sick or need your assistance. You will receive a small sticker with this number on it. If assistance is needed with your child, this number will be flashed on a small monitor located just to the right of the stage in the worship center.

Upon completion of the adult worship service, all children except bed babies and toddlers will be escorted to the worship center where they will be invited to sing "Happy Trails" on stage. Your child may then be picked up at the edge of the stage. You will need your security sticker to claim your child.

Nursery

Our Nursery is available for all children not yet mature enough to participate in Children's Church, typically 3 and under. Nursery children can be signed up in the foyer of the Youth Center. (The same place where Children's Church children are signed in.) Our staff will assist you in getting your child to the correct class room and the same security protocol that is used for older children will be used for nursery children with this exception: nursery children must be picked up at the same place where they were dropped off in the Youth Center.
