Who God Calls

We often suffer under the illusion that God only calls people who have their lives in order to his service. However, scripture tells a different story. The apostle Paul, for example, was a hard, violent man who even lent his consent to murder. Yet, God not only called him to his service, he used him as he has used no one else since. Even now, God continues that pattern. He reaches out to sinners and calls them into his service.
