covid-19 update

Dear Cowboy Church Family,

Effective Wednesday March 10, Governor Greg Abbott is opening Texas businesses to operate at 100% capacity and is also lifting the statewide mask mandate. In view of these developments, Cowboy Church will be returning to a mask optional policy in our 10:30a service on Sunday March 14th. Social distancing and common-sense sanitation will continue to be encouraged and hand sanitizer will remain available at each door. However, since many members have not yet had access to a vaccine and may still prefer a safer service, our 8:30a service will continue to require masks until the vaccine is more widely available.

We are also pleased to announce that on Easter Sunday, April 4th, we will resume serving coffee and donuts and will relaunch our Saddle UP program immediately following the 10:30a service. Saddle Up is a one month, four session course designed to familiarize you with our church and put you on the path of knowing, loving, and serving Jesus. It is strongly encouraged for everyone who wants to become a part of Cowboy Church. You can sign up for Saddle UP by contacting the church office.

Although we understand that the pandemic is not yet over and will continue to take steps to keep our members safe until it is, we do believe the end is in sight and will continue returning to normalcy as quickly as circumstances permit. We deeply appreciate your continued support throughout this crisis and encourage you to pray about how you will re-engage with God and your church family moving forward. As it says in Hebrews 10:25 “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

Sincerely,

Cowboy Church Elders and Staff
